Flight attendant who has to live in two cities (one to live in and one to work in) seeks mature and responsible person to share rent in apartment in Charles Village/Homewood area very near Johns Hopkins University.

I would be in the apartment on off days which average 3-5 days or approximately 1/3 of the month. You would have the apartment basically for 2/3 of the month. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom. Rear bedroom has bed, clothes rack, full closet, dresser, desk and two chairs. Again, it has its own private bath. Common areas include small-medium kitchen with fridge, new stove, new cabinets, microwave and coffee maker and has a pantry. Also living room and sunporch/dining area. Good sized apartment in safe neighborhood. Vegan restaruant on street level with wifi, but have wifi in apartment as well.

There are lots of stores, shops and drugstores in area. Public transportation can take you south to downtown, north to counties as well. Subway, lite rail busses and train station accessible from this area. There is one grocery store 20 minutes west and one 20 minutes east. Churches of all faiths are in the neighborhood. Running/walking track across the street, tennis courts on Hopkins campus also for use by the public. High rise area but great looking neighborhood. Hopkins Shuttle to JHMI and other Hopkins medical locations available within two blocks. Note: parking is somewhat difficult, but there is one hotel that offers underground parking. Still, if you have a car, that would be your responsibility. Zip Car, however, is everywhere in this area.

Need mature and responsible person to look after and keep apartment neat. Must clean up after yourself ( in kitchen as well) and keep room tidy. Any pictures hanging should have perhaps 3M products where it can hold the picture and frame, but won’t damage the walls. This is a basic apartment setup, but it is CLEAN. Building secure as you need key to enter and in some cases, to exit certain entrance doors. Receptionist available Mon-Fri from 9am to 2pm, good maintenance crew and two doormen. Great staff and even greater landlord, but rent due on time and in full. Laundry room open 24/7/365. $1.50 to wash and $1.50 to dry with 4 washers and 4 dryers.

Cost is as follows:
Rent is $675 per month with $600 security. Utilities: $15 for gas, $75 for heat/hot water/airconditioniing (summer). I am expected to pay the same for utilities as well. Total rent per month is $765.00 The $600 security is returned minus any damages, which are not expected, but it does come back to you upon your departure from the apartment.

Would like to show apartment and possibly set up person within the next couple of weeks (room/apartment is currently available) if at all manageable. Would like to speak with interested individuals at the earliest possible time as my schedule may begin to peak and I would prefer to have someone in before that happens. Nonetheless, seeking at least 6 months but considering longer period depending on circumstances. Great for grad student, but open.
