We are a staffing firm located in Midtown Manhattan (NYC). Our base of clients in the Financial Services sector is looking for quality individuals to fill long term temporary roles in the following areas:
- Administrative Assistants
- Data Entry Clerks
- Customer Service Representatives
- Corporate Trust Administrators
- Securities Settlement Processors
- Account Administrators
Admin Assistants:
Selected candidates will be responsible for providing administrative support to functional areas, department managers and staff. They will use automated office equipment to type and proofread letters, reports, and other materials. They will also maintain alphabetical, numerical or subject filing systems. They may coordinate special projects and department activities. They will be responsible for screening calls, taking and delivering messages, providing information to callers. They may order and maintain office supplies, prepare and sort mail, make appointments and travel arrangements. 2+ years of relevant work experience required. Familiarity with MS Office required.
Data Entry Clerks:
Responsible for entering information from a variety of sources into a computer database. Must meet standards for production volume, accuracy, and completeness. Qualified candidates will possess excellent data entry skills, 10 key as well as entering data into a free text form (new account forms, names, address, etc). Candidates will need to be able to comprehend and listen to directions, use MS office applications. 2+ years of relevant work experience is required. Familiarity with MS Office. Lotus Notes a plus.
Customer Service Representatives:
Provides quality customer service and support to customers on a daily basis, including phone interaction, problem resolution and account transaction processing in a timely manner. Executes all correspondent requisites in a timely and accurate manner with an understanding of the underlying business and specific customer needs. Provides product knowledge and technical assistance as necessary. Responds to customer inquiries. Investigates and corrects errors in customer accounts and statements.
Corporate Trust Administrators
Provides top quality service to clients and complete administration of assigned corporate trust and/or agency accounts. This individual must be able to prioritize and organize workflow, as well as corroborate all facets of the operation and administration of client accounts. Furthermore, they are tasked with ensuring compliance and customer satisfaction to the highest standards. The Trust Administrator reports directly to the Relationship Manager. The TA will be responsible for much of the day to day administration of the portfolio, involving funds transfer, trade clearance, compliance monitoring and client service and communication. BA/BS degree in finance or related field preferred. Experience in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, etc. Ability to acquire a working knowledge of the portfolio of accounts by working closely with the Relationship Manager. Ability to interface with his/her Relationship Manager and Team Leader to ensure compliance both with governing documents and bank policies, and to ensure client satisfaction.
Securities Settlement Processors:
Qualified candidate will be responsible for the timely and accurate settlement of domestic and international trade processed on behalf of trust clients. Additional responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: communicating with several external parties such as lending agents and brokers, resolving discrepancies between the depository and/or fund company and internal trade information, ensuring the efficient handling of securities and account transactions within tight deadlines, and correctly reflecting transaction activity on the Custody Management System. Other duties may include making check runs, writing related documents, inputting/verifying distribution checks, balancing monthly and quarterly reports, researching payment factors, calculating and inputting payments, filing, researching, identifying and inputting checks and wires, and researching/settling security trades through the Federal Reserve, reconciling Custody accounts to the Fund Complex, posting entries to the custody system for recordkeeping purposes, and maintaining account tracking in a FoxPro database. Minimum of 1 year relevant data entry work experience and/or Associates Degree.
Account Administrators:
Qualified candidate will provide professional support to Clients, Investment Managers and Transfer Agents through timely and accurate processing of trade instructions and related transactions. Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
