Dear friends and loyal listeners my name is Dan Behrman

I am thrilled to announce that, after almost two years of forced “radio silence”, I’m back behind not just a mic but behind my OWN MICROPHONE this time!

I wish to thank my associates, Clifford Schwartz and Mark Diamond for offering me a section of their superb website so I could set up this brand new web radio which, I hope, will go on and thrive for many years to come.

On the radar screen, some brand new radio shows in English and in French with original and personal programming geared toward a mix of musical discoveries coming from all time periods, all nationalities and all styles weaving in and out of more or less pertinent commentaries (!!!). Also, lots of interviews with unique and interesting people coming from all walks of life!

We’re talking here about an audio space which will convene the more or less palatable personalities known as Big Dan The Bananaman, The Immigrant, Just An Immigrant and El Immigrante Por Favor, and even Dan, sorry about that!

I’m also tickled to tell you that I’ll post on a regular basis groovy archives dating back to the times when I used to lurk on the air of Free-Form WFMU (NJ) and of WBAI (NY) as well as on CKUT (Radio McGill, Montreal) with interviews and in-studio live performances coming from legendary musicians as well as from artists who were totally unknown at the time but who have become unavoidable since!
