My name is Dave,i am 19 years old and have been a vocalist for 5 years, i have alot of experience in previous bands but those are old news now since they broke up most likely because the members that were in it we’re not serious enough to keep it together or mature enough to get things done. I have been having some trouble finding a decent band or members to start a groove metal band with. This is along the lines of Chimaria, Lamb of God, Pantera, and Devildriver. I’m also inspired by other bands such as the black dahlia murder, Miss may I, carnifex, motionless in white, etc. My vocal style most notably sounds like Randy Blythe from Lamb of God. Very rough and angry. I can hit high notes and growl well too. I live in Halls Crossroads, knoxville, near powell and maynardville, and I can only go so far, as to transportation goes since gas costs an arm and an leg now, and CAN NOT go past downtown, knoxville, unless a ride is provided for me. I have my own mic and p.a. system and A TON of lyrics. I just need the music and right guys to get this out there and get us some recognition for our talent as musicians. My lyrics do mostly center around revenge on being screwed over but also some political stuff too. One other major thing you should know is WE WILL NEED A PLACE TO PRACTICE!!! My place has too many people in it already and there’s not enough space, and the rents would’nt let us practice here because of that and the energy of the music. But, with 2 drawbacks, i gurantee you won’t be dissapointed when you hear what i can do on the mic.
